 One dead, 17 wounded in Baghdad bombings 8/23/2010 - 10:04:04 AM One person has been killed and 17 wounded in separate late-night bombings in Baghdad, Iraqi police said today. The first attack targeted a drink store near central Baghdad. A police official said the blast was caused by a roadside bomb that wounded two people. An hour later, another bomb struck a popular cafe in the capital’s south-west. A policeman said that explosion killed one person and wounded 15 people. |
